Children Under 12

How to Buy Your Ticket

  1. Tickets are sold only at the palace gate — there is no official online booking for individual visitors.
  2. Bring cash in Moroccan dirhams (MAD); card payment is not reliably available at the ticket window.
  3. Arrive, queue briefly at the booth beside the entrance, and pay the posted rate for your visitor category.
  4. Keep your ticket — it also covers access to the rooftop terrace and the Koutoubia minbar pavilion.

Tips for Your Visit

  • For the best light on the pisé walls and reflecting pool, arrive between 9 and 11 in the morning.
  • Most of the site is open-air with little shade, so bring a hat, sunscreen, and water, especially in summer.
  • Don't skip the rooftop terrace — it's included in your ticket and offers one of the best views in the Kasbah.

Prices and opening hours are set by the palace administration and can change without notice, particularly during Ramadan. This page is maintained independently and is not an official source — please confirm current rates at the gate.
